단체 소개 ｜ TROUPE

 (사)국가무형유산 택견보존회는 국가유산청이 인정한 유일한 택견의 보유단체로 택견 전수자 교육, 공개행사 및 공연 활동, 택견 이론 및 실기 연구, 해외 보급 등 택견의 전승과 보급에 가장 핵심적인 단체이다. 충주시립택견단은 유네스코 인류무형유산에 등재된 택견의 원형을 계승하고 발전하기 위해 2011년 4월 29일 창단하였다. 국내 무예 분야에서는 유일한 시립공연단으로 국내 및 해외 공연을 통해 택견의 우수성과 전통성을 홍보하고 있다.

Taekkyeon Preservation Association for National Intangible Cultural Heritage, officially recognized by the Korea Heritage Service, serve as the cornerstone for the safeguarding and globalization of Taekkyeon. The association dedicates itself to training practitioners, hosting public events, conducting research, and promoting this traditional martial art worldwide.

Chungju Municipal Taekkyeon Corps, founded on April 29, 2011, is dedicated to preserving and advancing the authentic form of Taekkyeon, which is inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. As Korea’s only municipal martial arts performance group, it proudly showcases the excellence of Taekkyeon through dynamic domestic and international performances.

공연 소개 ｜ Performance Introduction

유네스코 인류무형유산 택견 - 전통의 숨결에서 현대의 몸짓으로 

본 공연은 국가무형유산 택견의 전통성과 예술성을 현대적인 무대 구성으로 풀어낸 작품이다.

1부에서는 사물놀이 장단에 맞춰 육모거리, 마주메기기, 견주기 등 택견의 기본 움직임을 선보이며, 전통 택견판의 흥과 호흡을 표현한다. 2부에서는 국악관현악 선율에 군무, 아크로바틱, 겨루기 장면을 통해 택견 특유의 유연함과 폭발적인 에너지를 역동적으로 담아 낸다. 전통 장단과 군무, 고난도 기술이 어우러지는 장면이 주요 관람 포인트이며, 한국 전통무예의 리듬감과 현장감을 무대 위에서 생생하게 전달한다.

UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity Taekkyeon - From Traditional Breath to Modern Motion

This performance reinterprets the traditional artistry and dynamic spirit of Taekkyeon, Korea’s National Intangible Cultural Heritage, through a contemporary stage composition. In the first part, performers present fundamental Taekkyeon movements such as Yukmogeori, Majumegigi, and Gyeonjugi, harmonized with traditional percussion rhythms to recreate the lively atmosphere and breathing patterns of a traditional Taekkyeon arena. The second part incorporates Korean orchestral music to feature synchronized group choreography, acrobatic kicking techniques, and dynamic sparring sequences. Major highlights include the combination of traditional rhythms, powerful group formations, and high-level acrobatic skills. The performance vividly delivers the rhythm, flow, and energetic beauty unique to Korean traditional martial arts on stage.
