단체 소개 ｜ TROUPE

은율탈춤보존회는 은율탈춤의 원형보존 및 보급을 목적으로 설립되었으며, 1968년 은율탈춤 재연을 시작으로 1978년 국가무형문화재 제61호로 지정되어 그해 전국민속예술경연대회에서 문화공보부장관상을 수상하였다. 그 후 1982년 문화재관리국으로부터 전승지를 인천으로 지정받아 1984년 은율탈춤전수관 개관 이후 현재까지 인천을 대표하는 문화재로써 활발한 전수활동을 하고 있으며, 1997년 수봉민속놀이마당을 개장하여 각종 전통예술 공연을 통한 전통문화 보급에 앞장서고 있다.

Eunyul Talchum Preservation Association was established to preserve and transmit the authentic form of Eunyul Talchum. Starting with the reenactment of Eunyul Talchum in 1968, it was designated as National Intangible Cultural Heritage No. 61 in 1978 and won the Minister of Culture and Public Affairs Award at the National Folk Art Competition that year. In 1982, Incheon was officially designated as the primary site for its transmission, leading to the opening of the Eunyul Talchum Training Center in 1984. Since then, the association has actively preserved and passed down this iconic cultural asset representing Incheon. The Subong Folk Playground was opened in 1997 to take the lead in spreading traditional culture through various traditional art performances.

공연 소개 ｜ Performance Introduction

은율탈춤 

은율탈춤은 역동적이고 활발한 춤사위가 특징인 황해도 지역을 대표하는 탈춤으로 벽사의 의식무, 파계승 풍자, 양반에 대한 풍자, 처첩간의 갈등 풍자의 4가지 주제에 입각해 공연되는데, 본 공연에서는 은율탈춤 6과장 중 은율탈춤의 특징이 두드러진 1과장 사자춤, 3과장 팔목중춤, 6과장 미얄할미 영감춤을 선보인다.

Eunyul Talchum

Eunyul Talchum is a traditional Korean mask dance from the Hwanghae-do region, known for its dynamic movements and lively energy. The performance is based on four themes: rituals to ward off evil spirits, satire of corrupt monks, satire of the yangban (aristocratic class), and conflicts between a wife and a concubine. This program presents three highlights from the six acts of Eunyul Talchum: Sajachum (Lion Dance), Palmokjungchum (Dance of the Eight Monks), and Miyalhalmi-Yeonggamchum (Dance of Grandmother Miyal and the Old Man).

체험 ｜ Experience

• 나만의 탈 그리기 Drawing My Own Mask : 

전시된 은율탈을 참고하여, 종이탈에 채색도구를 활용하여 나만의 탈을 만들어보는 체험

A hands-on activity where participants create their own unique mask by coloring a paper mask, referring to the exhibited Unyul masks.

• 은율탈 착용 Wearing a Unyul Mask :

실제 공연용 탈과 의상을 직접 착용해 보는 문화 체험

A cultural experience where participants can try on actual performance masks and costumes.
