단체 소개 ｜ TROUPE
(사)국가무형유산 동래야류보존회는 1965년 <제6회 전국민속예술경연대회>에서 대통령상을 수상하고, 1967년 국가무형유산으로 지정되어 오늘에 이르고 있다. 가무악이 복합된 연희형태로 탈을 쓰고 웅박캥캥 장단에 맞춰 덧배기춤을 추다가 풍자와 비판의 재담과 몸짓으로 양반들을 희롱하고 서민들의 애환을 풀어내는 내용이다.
Dongnae Yaryu (Mask Dance Drama of Dongnae) Preservation Association for National Intangible Cultural Heritage won the Presidential Award at the 6th National Folk Arts Contest in 1965. And it was designated as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage in 1967 and continues to this day.
In this performance, masked actors deliver a dynamic showcase combining music, song and dance, featuring the Deotbaegi dance driven by the Ungbak-kaeng-kaeng rhythm. Through witty remarks, satirical gestures, and sharp criticism, the drama humorously ridicules the nobility (Yangban) while soothing the joys and sorrows of the common people.

공연 소개 ｜ Performance Introduction
할미·영감과장
할미 · 영감과장은 할미가 야류판에서 집 나갔던 영감과 만났으나 제대각시가 나타나 본처와 첩 사이에 싸움이 벌어진다. 영감이 아들 삼형제의 소식을 물어보는데 모두 죽었다는 할미의 말에 화가 나서 발길로 차서 할미는 쓰러진다. 의원의 침도, 봉사의 독경도 소용없이 죽어버리고 상여로 할미를 극락세계로 인도한다.
Halmi, Yeonggam gwajang
In the Halmi, Yeonggam gwajang, Halmi meets Yeonggam who had left home at Yaryupan, but Jedae Gaksi appears and a fight breaks out between Halmi and the concubine. Yeonggam asks for news about their three sons, but when Halmi says that all of them are dead, he gets angry and kicks her, causing her to collapse. Despite the doctor’s acupuncture and the blind man’s chanting of sutras, she passes away. Finally, a funeral bier leads Halmi to the world of paradise.
