(사) 국가무형유산 이리향제줄풍류보존회는 국가무형유산 ‘이리향제줄풍류’의 전승과 보급을 위해 활동하는 단체이다. 이리향제줄풍류는 구례향제줄풍류와 함께 우리나라에 전승되는 대표적인 향제줄풍류로, 익산 지역 선비들의 풍류문화와 지역 고유의 음악적 정서를 담고 있다. 보존회는 정기공연, 교육, 학술연구, 국내외 교류 활동을 통해 전통의 원형을 충실히 계승하는 한편 현대 사회와 소통하는 다양한 무대를 마련하고 있다. 또한 지역사회와 연계한 공연과 교육을 통해 풍류문화의 예술적 가치와 삶의 미학을 널리 알리며, 우리 전통음악이 오늘날에도 자연스럽게 향유될 수 있도록 힘쓰고 있다.
Iri Hyangje Julpungnyu Preservation Association is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting Iri Hyangje Julpungnyu, one of only two nationally recognized Hyangje Julpungnyu traditions remaining in Korea. Rooted in the cultural heritage of the Iksan region, this music embodies the refined lifestyle, artistic sensibility, and spirit of pungnyu cultivated by generations of scholars and music lovers. Through performances, education, research, and international exchange programs, the association preserves the authenticity of the tradition while fostering broader public appreciation. By connecting heritage with contemporary life, it continues to share the artistic value and enduring beauty of Korea’s pungnyu culture with future generations.

선비들의 풍류음악
이 공연은 국가무형유산 이리향제줄풍류에 전승되는 15곡의 한바탕 가운데 일부를 선별하여 선보이는 무대이다. 이리향제줄풍류는 현악영산회상을 바탕으로 형성된 풍류음악으로, 선비와 풍류객들이 벗들과 함께 음악을 나누며 즐기던 전통 속에서 전승되어 왔다. 절제된 선율과 조화로운 합주가 빚어내는 풍류음악의 품격, 선비들의 교유와 풍류문화가 담긴 전통 음악의 정취를 만날 수 있다. 서양의 클래식 음악에 비견되는 우리 전통음악의 정수이자 대표적인 음악유산의 가치를 느낄 수 있는 무대이다.
The Classical Music of Joseon Scholars
This showcase presents selected pieces from the fifteen-part suite of Iri Hyangje Julpungnyu, a National Intangible Cultural Heritage of Korea. Derived from the tradition of Yeongsanhoesang, it developed as a refined chamber music tradition enjoyed by scholars and cultured music enthusiasts. Audiences will experience the elegance of restrained melodies, the beauty of harmonious ensemble performance, and the spirit of pungnyu culture cultivated through music and fellowship. Iri Hyangje Julpungnyu represents the essence of Korean traditional music and a distinguished musical heritage sharing a cultural significance similar to Western classical music.
