단체 소개 ｜ TROUPE
사단법인 국가무형유산 봉산탈춤보존회는 국가무형유산 봉산탈춤의 전승과 보존, 연구 및 보급을 위해 설립된 단체이다. 봉산탈춤의 원형을 계승하는 동시에 현대 관객과 소통할 수 있는 다양한 공연과 교육, 학술 및 국제교류 사업을 활발히 추진하고 있다. 정기공연과 기획공연, 국내외 초청공연을 통해 봉산탈춤의 예술적 가치를 널리 알리고 있으며, 전승교육사와 이수자, 전수자들이 함께 참여하는 체계적인 전승활동을 통해 전통문화의 지속가능한 미래를 만들어가고 있다.
Bongsan Talchum Preservation Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the safeguarding, transmission, research, and promotion of Bongsan Talchum, Korea’s National Intangible Cultural Heritage. While faithfully preserving the traditional form of the art, the assosiation actively develops performances, educational programs, academic initiatives, and international exchange projects that connect Bongsan Talchum with contemporary audiences. Through regular productions, special performances, and invitations to festivals and cultural events both in Korea and abroad, the assosiation continues to promote the artistic and cultural value of Bongsan Talchum. Supported by a systematic transmission framework involving certified instructors, graduates, and trainees, the organization is committed to ensuring the continuity and future development of this important traditional performing art.

봉산탈춤
봉산탈춤은 총 7과장으로 구성된 한국의 대표적인 탈춤으로, 해학과 풍자, 춤과 음악이 어우러진 종합 연희이다. 이번 공연에서는 제2과장 팔목중춤, 제4과장 노장춤, 제5과장 사자춤의 주요 장면을 선보인다. 익살스러운 목중들의 춤사위와 재담, 수행자의 욕망을 풍자적으로 그려낸 노장춤, 그리고 힘찬 기운과 역동적인 움직임이 돋보이는 사자춤을 통해 봉산탈춤만의 예술성과 대중성을 압축적으로 만나볼 수 있다. 전통 연희가 지닌 흥과 재치, 생동감 넘치는 무대의 매력을 한자리에서 느낄 수 있는 공연이다.
Bongsan Talchum
Bongsan Talchum is one of Korea’s most representative traditional mask dance dramas, consisting of seven acts that combine dance, music, satire, and humor into a vibrant performing art. This showcase presents selected highlights from Act 2: Palmokjung Dance, Act 4: Nojang Dance, and Act 5: Sajachum (Lion dance). Audiences will enjoy the witty and humorous movements of the monks, the satirical portrayal of human desire and hypocrisy through the Nojang Dance, and the dynamic energy and powerful choreography of the Sajachum. This condensed performance offers a compelling introduction to the artistic excellence and popular appeal of Bongsan Talchum, allowing audiences to experience the excitement, humor, and vitality that have made this traditional performance a cherished part of Korea’s cultural heritage.
